Dr. Mike Hopkins
Like most other Floridians, Dr. Mike
relocated to the Dunedin area in the late 1970's. He is originally
a native of West Virginia, where he attended West Virginia
University and West Virginia University School of Dentistry.
Dr. Mike opened his very first office here in Dunedin in
1977 and recently celebrated the practice’s 30th Anniversary
by donating a day of dentistry to needy members of the Pinellas
Community. Throughout his career, Dr. Hopkins has continuously
been on the forefront of dental techniques by acquiring over
50 hours of Continuing Education every year. Dr. Hopkins is
also the Founder and Director of the Tampa Bay TMJ Pain Center,
a non-surgical treatment clinic for TMJ dysfunction.
Dr. Mike’s greatest professional achievement is the personal
relationship he builds with each patient that he treats. His
office prides itself on the family atmosphere he’s created.
His office is a guilt free office as well, you’ll enjoy the
“lecture free zone”.
One of the things closest to Dr. Mike’s heart is the missionary
dentistry that he does. Dr. Mike has donated his dental skills
to less fortunate individuals in Haiti, Bosnia, the Dominican
Republic and Peru. His next scheduled trip returns him to
northern Peru. If you would like to know more about Dr. Mike,
